  2. That was going to be my second guess. (Just teasing.). How is your grandson doing with b-ball?

  3. The instructors still speak of you at camp, Paul. I never heard what happened, but they don't do the Piggly Wiggly group outings on Tuesdays anymore. ;)

Super rushed this evening. 2 quick passes and NO touch ups = CCS. I'm thinking the blade may need changing. I hope not; one of the reasons for me switching over to gems was a naive hope that the blades would last longer. There was even talk of stropping blades to get 30 shaves out of them. I'm either doing it wrong, or am the victim of the imposture of others. Wouldn't be the first time (for either option) and probably won't be the last. I'll use the same blade tomorrow, but slow things down a bit and see what happens.

Important thing is that I am experiencing very little razor burn, which has been my focus for this month.

  6. Good job on avoiding the razor burn. I get between 5-7 shaves out of a Gem blade.
  7. Thank you for the kind words, Gentlemen. Very appreciated after a long day.

  8. Not sure if others have answered yet, Tim, but I usually get around 6-7 shaves from a GEM style blade. For reference, I’m good for 3-4 for most DE blades and 7 or so for injectors.

  9. Never heard of that one either, Terry. Looking forward to your reviews.

  10. Liquid Lanolin? Never used that, Keith. Do you add it regularly? Great looking combo, as well!

  11. I know you really enjoyed that R4L soap, Clint. Are you going to try to pick up another dupe of the same scent? Fine’s Clean Vetiver perhaps?
  12. Love the pic, Evan. The replated NEW is a stunner!
  13. Nice shave. For me the blade longevity improved when I was able to consistently keep good angles.
  14. thank you Tim..glad you like the subtle details..:).all my old razors shave great but similar.i have to find new ways to do things a little different..ie pics..

  17. I had not intended to add more vetiver to the den. I still have, MdC Vetyver and Mike's Vetiver. However, my wife bought me Fine Fresh Vetiver soap for Christmas. At least its a great scent and soap.
  18. awesome Charlie..
  19. thank you Perry..
  20. probably lathers quite well.;)
