Let’s try something new! The Colonial General SE - SS is raved about by many and this one is just in from a buddy. The first thing you notice about the razor is the weight and the solid build quality. Balances well and pretty impressive in the hand. Loaded up with a new Schick Pro Line AC blade.

Soap of choice today was First Line Shave Blue which is a ringer for CK Eternity. Lovely soap for a great cause. Truly enjoyable beyond the scent it lathered well and was slick. The matching AS was very nice and post shave feel was phenomenal.

Lots of lather so I went for a three pass shave however, I would have been quite happy with the results after one! BBS achieved in the end! The General is mild and smooth but mows down the beard quite efficiently! I have an iKon El Jefe that is practically terrifying to use and isn’t anywhere near this beauty in efficiency and smoothness. I can see why people rave about the Colonial General.
