  1. Congratulations on your maiden shave with your new Occam razor, Jeff! I grade your shave an A+!

  3. Great job, Patrick.
  4. That looks like such a fun razor to shave with Keith! Love the lines in the blade from layer building & forging. Great stuff with the hot shave testing!
  5. Saturday morning, hello all. Hope your day goes great! Getting the gang ready to go watch 7-8 year olds play B-ball.
Got some time in to use a razor that needed some shave love.
My PAL Injectomatic, with a Schick B-20 blade. A nice shave, keeping the blade at the right angle is the trick for me getting a good, painless, close shave. 2 passes on the face with some clean up. 2 passes on the gord with some clean up. No issues, not as close as some razor/blade combos I have, but still ok. I've tried other blades in this blade holder, the B-20's seem to work best, so far. Yes the injector pictured was reloaded with B-20's.
I find if you get the angle right, you really can't go wrong. The angle is the secret to these type of tools, at least for me. Oh!, and a good sharp blade.
20200111_081445.jpg l unload and bin the blade after use. I realy don't like using a blade twice.
Getting a sub par shave because of a dulling blade isn't where I'm at. I'm also not a fan of leaving a blade in any of my razors, so I just don't do it.
Reading along with the posts seems things are going ok with most, with a few exceptions, sorry to see these things happening with those few.
My heart and prayers go out to you.

    All!
    Have a great weekend!!
    Enjoy!

  16. Thanks, Blair, I received the mug as part of my Secret Santa here on TSD. Love it!
  17. My shave ended up fine today, but it got off to a questionable beginning. First touch of brush to face felt a little chilly, and I couldn't understand why. I think what I need to are 2 things....1)-make sure the faucet water is NICE AND HOT first....2)-spend a little less time soaking the brush. For the second pass, I had warmer water, thus things got back to normal. The Soap Exchange puts out real good soaps. Finished off with AgadirMen aftershave(oud wood). Good stuff.
  18. Very nice, Terry!
  19. Great shave as usual! I bin my blades after two, with the exception of my Gems and AC blades.
  20. Good shave report, Paul!
