SOTD, Wed Jan 8th-2020, I made a blade carrier for my Enders Speed Shaver months ago and works great for the Obsolete propitiatory Enders blades with a Schick proline B-20 modern blade. Its like having a Schick injector with a open comb hybrid type razor that works well.

Razor : Enders Speed shaver with a modified Enders blade carrier- MFG 1940's -1955
Blade : Standard Schick proline B-20 (9 use)
Soap: Razorock Don Marco
Brush : Razorock Plissoft
Preshave: Yaqi Casmire shave brush my face with CerVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3
Postshave : Alum + cold water rinse.
Postshave :FINE fresh Vetiver with witch Hazel + Nivea balm
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + alum indicated minor irritation + no weepers =

Blade : Schick injector (6)
Soap : Gillette Pure
Brush : Razorock Noir 400
Preshave: Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse face after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Pinaud Clubman with witch Hazel + Nivea balm.
Results:CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =

Sunday Shave Jan 12th-2020- Schick Sunday with a Schick injector promo series razor for the 1976 Montreal Olympics that was sponsored by Schick.

Razor: Schick injector L type theme series- MFG 1976
Blade : Personna injector SS PTFE (4)
Soap: Razorock Santa Marie del Flore "Frienze" -Excellent soap!
Brush: Yaqi tuxedo 24mm+ with black marble handle
Preshave:Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on beard area.
Prep : cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Avon "True Gent"aftershave balm & cologne with witch hazel
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + some irritation + 2 blemish weepers =

Despite my attempt at resistance (don't like cold water in the least), I think I just joined. To be more precise, I just splashed my face with cold tap water before shaving. My shave was closer and smoother, and even lasted longer. Did I just join The Fellowship of Cold Water Shavers??

a nice tight feeling face..refreshing..i do a cold water final rinse regardless of shave type..

Welcome! I'm a cold shaver all the way. Cold water for face prep, cold razor in the sink bowl, and cold water rinse at the end. Feels good and leaves my face less red and puffy.

MMMonday Jan-13th-2020 - It is sure nice when a prior shave was so so and you pick up a Micromatic open comb and does the job with excellent results. I did a 3 pass shave this morning with the MMOC and it was stellar, I have gone from a 2 pass to a 3 pass lately with less pressure and getting lots of good shaves.(Thanks to my Oneblade Core because you need 3 passes to get a excellent shave!)

Razor: Gem MMOC - MFG 1932-41 variant MMOC I used- button less MFG 1930-32 variant usually just brass.
Blade : Gem Pesonna SS PTFE (8)
Soap : Razorock Santa Marie del Flore "Firenze"- Excellent lather properties & scent.
Preshave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Brush : Yaqi Cashmire 24 mm synthetic with black marble handle.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Even when it's -34 C or -30 F today
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse.
Post shave : Avon "True Gent" with witch Hazel+ Avon "True Gent" aftershave balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + alum indicated no irritation + no weepers =
