January 13th Menthol Monday Razor: Gillette BlueTip Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless (1) Brush: Omega S-Brush S10019 PS: Stirling Menthollated Pre-Shave & Proraso Green SS: Stirling Christmas Eve AS: Proraso Green Happy Monday the 13th, way scarier than Friday the 13th. I'm continuing on with my sample reduction but I got plenty of menthol in my pre and post shave products. Also decided to go easy on my face with a mild razor. The BlueTip paired with a Feather is a great combo as long as I don't apply pressure to make up for the mild feel. Obviously my shave wasn't as close, but that was the goal after yesterday's dermisectomy. After 3 passes and minimal cleanup, the alum was kind. I did top a few razor bumps which was expected and did provide some feedback. Evil Autostrop... I still laugh when I think a about how we turn our shaves into mini dramas. Fun times.

I had a very surprising first shave with the Pearl TTO open comb razor. What was surprising? The moment this shave started I was amazed at how smooth this razor is. Honestly, I would compare it to my Karve with the C solid bar plate. Yes, this $10.40 razor can run with the Karve. I know it is crazy but it really is that smooth. The Razorrock soap and the Feather helped the Pearl mow through three days’ worth of growth. Finished it off with the Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille dup. I hope everyone is doing great and I have not forgot about y’all.
good morning gents,menthol monday cold water shave..,yes sir..french monobloc/platinum,the ds cosmetics tuxedo brush built an ice rink slick stirling lemon chill lather.2+ cold passes with cold rinses produced a slippery bbs with below zero drama.lemon chill aftershave to finish..brrr..that's enough winter for me today.kickin back with a hot coffee..have a chillin day gents..
