Tuesday shave: Just warm water today. CF is one of my top software, it was wet and slick. My Dovo Masters is stainless steel but to be honest I do not feel any difference between my stainless and my carbon steel razors. An epic shave today.

Jason, I am hoping to see @Terry enter that thing in MAYhem this year. From experience with oddball shaving devices, I'd say he is going to give me stiff competition. I'm going down to the basement just in case and get those monkeys working on something that may give me a chance this year. Last year cost me 200 bucks in bananas and I put up with alot of crap throwing but they came through. I will show them a pic of that thing and tell them to ' get er done ' . They will binge watch Larry the cable guy for 3 days and on the 4th day may start to work. It would probably be easier to build something myself but they are now unionized and my hands are tied . Wish me luck!

thank y'all. thought I would do a "banger" of a shave today, because this is gonna be a busy week of classes due to being off next Monday for MLK day and posts on here this week are going to be less often.

Sorry, Joe. Clarity is not always my strongest suit. I meant that even if I get it at $34 sometime in June instead of the admittedly great price of $24, I would still consider that shavette a bargain ;)

I appreciate it. I just didn't want you to think otherwise. When I have approx 8 - 10 shaves on my current blade. I will use the green insert for the Personna blades so you can see that it gives almost the same coverage as a traditional straight.

That's a great piece of kit, Myles. Congratulations! Evan is an incredibly generous member of the forum (one among many) ;)

The adaptability of that shavette is what initially caught my eye--from DE sized, all the way up to those Personnas. "June, Tim, June. June. JUNE!"

Grade A+ shave, Keith! I am not a metallurgist, but our touch receptors are not fine enough to distinguish between these two iron alloys.

Thanks, Jeff. The MMOC doesn't quite scare me as much as it did before--and that kind of scares me ;)

Thanks, Jason! The hardest part (the devil's day of district meetings) is over. From here on out, the fun part begins--teaching :D

Classic retro shave, Myles! I was born in 1955, therefore anything that was made in that year; was usually top notch. Of course, that is my biased opinion.

Unfortunately, the Dovo long blades that you snap in half and fit into the black insert were discontinued.

it was great. got one little nic but that is normal for me when I use a brand new blade, by the time I use the blade a 2nd time I don't seem to get any other nics. but yea that blue tip glides across like a plane
