    Ever-Ready 1914 Army
    GEM Stainless SE
    CWR
    Osage Rub

This is my first shave with the Ever-Ready and the first shave with Jayaruh #380. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Virgilio Valobra Shaving Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #380 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Ever-Ready 1914 Army razor with a GEM Stainless SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

  6. MMMonday Jan-13th-2020 - It is sure nice when a prior shave was so so and you pick up a Micromatic open comb and does the job with excellent results. I did a 3 pass shave this morning with the MMOC and it was stellar, I have gone from a 2 pass to a 3 pass lately with less pressure and getting lots of good shaves.(Thanks to my Oneblade Core because you need 3 passes to get a excellent shave!)

Razor: Gem MMOC - MFG 1932-41 variant MMOC I used- button less MFG 1930-32 variant usually just brass.
Blade : Gem Pesonna SS PTFE (8)
Soap : Razorock Santa Marie del Flore "Firenze"- Excellent lather properties & scent.
Preshave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Brush : Yaqi Cashmire 24 mm synthetic with black marble handle.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Even when it's -34 C or -30 F today
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse.
Post shave : Avon "True Gent" with witch Hazel+ Avon "True Gent" aftershave balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + alum indicated no irritation + no weepers = [IMG]

First go round with the Type F and milestone shave being the last razor needed to have owned and shaved with at least one razor of all the letters of the Schick alphabet.

Razor is mild but gets the job done, it is certainly a better shaver than the worst of the Type E razors but not in the same league as the best of the Type E razors. With that said the blade maybe partially due to that since for whatever reasons I don't get as good of shaves with the Proline blades as I do with Personna or Chinese Schick blades.

Still on the seated Shaves, rather rushed it so results rather patchy . Was really looking to have my first Shower for a few days. As I have a downstairs Shower Area adjacent to my Shave area do not have the hassle of going upstairs with my boot.

Second go round. My opinion so far a sold shaver, nothing great about it but it does get the job done. I will say the style of the handle and head is well beyond it's time. This thing looks like a fancy single edge cartridge razor.
