    Cold Water Rinse
    Tabac Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #380
    Ever-Ready 1914 Army
    GEM Stainless SE
    CWR
    Tabac ASB

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #380 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Ever-Ready 1914 Army razor with a GEM Stainless SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Four months ago I turned 73 and 67 years ago Andrea Doria was leaving for her maiden voyage: mygrandad was traveling on that ship.

And the following year my granny joined him: a demanding journey from Milan to Genoa to New York to San Francisco!

My grandfather worked at the City of Paris (he fluently spoke 5 or 6 languages), a beautiful department store that is no longer there, despite being in the National Register of Historical Places: money rules! Everywhere…

I never asked him how he used to shave, but I know you are impatient to know how I did it today and I will reveal it thanks to a beautiful photo.

I wanted to reuse Tech with Personna and the result was better than yesterday: perhaps a more relaxed skin?

However, despite the undeniable satisfaction, the blade does not have the smoothness of those that I prefer!
Soap is perhaps less protective than Cella, but is still excellent.

Someone might point out that the camera can be seen and think of my distraction!
How far they will be from the truth...

My old Lumix wanted to take a selfie (word that I abhor by linking it to self sexual activities!) and... how to deny it to the partner of many adventures and that allowed me to be considered one of the best
    photographers still living?

  7. I tend to load conservatively and add drops at a time until I dial in the perfect consistency. The greatness of this lather is that it allows the user choices. Aside from being able to garner maximum protection, you can also dial in a slick lather by going light on the load and/or adding more water. I like a balanced lather. Protective and slick. This soap can do it all. It's one of the few I give a 10/10 rating.

I called the blade an "Israeli" blade cuz I got these at a military BX and all it said on it was made in Israel so for lack of better knowledge that's what it is. And, unfortunately, it's not a really good blade either for me. The results are ok but the journey was not comfortable. Anyway, tomorrow is another day. Now go enjoy your day folks.
