So far so good with the .68 Jaws, one shave down. I want to run it through Friday before making any definitive conclusions (and even then it will be with only one blade) then break out the .68 OC. They've done a great job with this lineup.
Just had my first shave with the .68 OC. What a great shave. This may be the ideal plate for people that find the .84 OC to be too much. I used a German Wilkinson Sword blade which I've always found to be consistent, reliable, not "too sharp" and smooth. At no point in the shave did it even attempt to bite me, but remained very efficient.
Second shave with the .68 OC. Still just as impressive as the first using the same German Wilkinson blade. In the lineup I own which consists of: .84 SB, .84 OC, .84 Jaws, .68 OC and .68 Jaws I'm clearly beginning to favor the .84 SB and the .68 OC for daily shaving (which I have to do as a job requirement). I consider my beard density "average, medium". I have to be able to shave every workday morning and can't afford problems with irritation, cuts or nicks. The .84 SB and the .68 OC have proven they can do this for me. Of course there are many variables that go into these personal reviews not the least of which is prep, technique and blade choice, but those two plate choices have clearly come out on top for me.

I have always been curious about aggressive razors. A gentleman had the cap and the .84 Jaws plate for sale. I was not sure about using an open comb, but he assured me it was smooth. I got it, put it on my spare handled and lathered up my Norvost. The shave was fantastic. I took my time because I didn't know what to expect. I was rewarded with a great shave. This razor punches way above it's weight.
