January Focus Hemingway Accoutrements~~Simpson~~Gillette~~Polsilver Hopelessly behind, with no chance on catching up. It's going to get worse, as I am off to teach Wed-Fri at my old university for the next 4 weeks. So, apologies for not responding to comments or compliments. Except for the brush, I am taking this gear with me. Hope everyone has a great week.
Wonderful shave and post Joseph. Good luck teaching for the next 4 weeks. At least you have a fantastic travel setup.
Thanks, Clint! I have the MicroMatic and the Sabre L2 along with the OneBlade. The OneBlade is easily the easiest to use. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
January 15, 2020 Hiram with ••• plate Feather Pro Brad Sears Disco Savonniere du Moulin Small Batch Shave Tonic At least today is Wednesday instead of Monday. I really enjoy using this soap as a shave stick and get better results. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. The Hiram is a cross between the Cobra and OneBlade delivering great results with near zero thought or technique. A splash of Small Batch Shave Tonic and I am off to my office to knock out a few things. I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday
I did have the Sabre L2, MMOC, 1912 and Feather Weight. I kept my Damaskeene OC and a near mint Damaskeene in a cased set with Damskeene Blades and Blade Bank. I just use the OneBlade with a Gem blade more than any other gem razor I have used.
SOTD January 15, 2020 Prep: Cold water and PAA Cube pre-shave soap Blade: vintage Personna twin Razor: Personna injector Brush: JR #142 black badger Soap: Stirling Green Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Green aftershave Good shave in the end but I had to work harder at it than normal. Could be the blade, but it certainly wasn't the lather's fault. Wonderful, slick, voluminous lather as expected with Stirling. All came together well with no complaints. Enjoy your day!
