I don't remember who it was but someone posted that picture as a response when I received my 'smelling pretty' CT. I used it as my avatar for a short time.

thank you Tim..will be off the rest of the week or until it clears..i have a hilly 25 km commute each way to work.i try to plan a floating holiday during this time of year for a few days for this reason.just not interested in driving in the chaos here..when i lived up north weather like this is normal and people can drive in it,cars prepped etc .here, not so much..

Great shave and report, Tim! Whatever you do, don't lose the MMOC! Great razor, and you'll regret it.

Of the 3, I prefer the RedTip. If I ever faced the, "you can only have one" dilemma I would go for an adjustable. Probably a Fatboy. It is nice to shave with a less aggressive razor sometimes, like the day after I really mess up my face. :)

less aggressive razors are my go 2 especially when I am in a rush out the door in the mornings for classes, because of the fact that I can shave faster without nics.

Sounds fantastic, Jim. Great photo and report of what sounds like another PAA winner.

That's hillarious, Jaso... er... Goldshaver. You'll kill it yet. Great report, pic, and shave.

That setup is almost as nice as the view... or was it the other way around? One way or the other, wonderful shave and report, Jeff!

Very busy past couple days. Catch up shave reports, no images :(. Maybe tomorrow mid day (another busy one though).

    Jan 14th:

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - PS - Tube 2.0, ASB - Star Jelly
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - SS/ASC - Et Tu (Brut Clone)
    Semogue Cherry OC Boar
    J3Customs Kamisori

3 pass DFS+. Pulled out a brush that was feeling neglected, and went to work face lathering PAA's Et Tu, CK-6 formulation. Love this Brut clone, it's a PAA favorite (not the favorite). I do have 'supposedly' the original Brut brew, purchased from an estate sale. They are very close to each other, and different from the current retail version sold (everywhere). Today's razor was the J3Customs little brother....about a 7/8 size, 6 inch bamboo wrapped handled kamisori. Finished off with the usual Star Jelly, then the matching Et Tu aftershave/cologne. This PAA AS/C I'll catch whiffs a little after lunch into mid afternoon.

    Jan 15th:

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - PS - Tube 2.0, ASB - Star Jelly
    Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - SS/ASC - Atmotic
    Zenith 27.5mm Synthetic
    Blackland Dart
    Feather Hi Stainless (1)

2 pass DFS+. 1 neck weeper. The Zenith synthetic is a recent addition, really like it for face lathering....I seem to do better face lathering using stiffer brushes, and the badgers better for me bowl lathering. Another neglected razor, the Blackland Dart, wanted to compare it to my other recent razor acquisition, the Rex Ambassador (both using a new Feather Hi Stainless). I once thought the Dart had a lot of blade exposure and blade feel, but after using the Rex Ambassador.....not so much. The Dart felt tame in comparison, still plenty of blade feel, small amount of flex, but the blade is not as 'edge forward' like the Rex Ambassador set on 6. Finished off with the Star Jelly, and dose of Atmotic. This wifey approved fragrance, even with normal application, maybe a teaspoonful in the cup of my hand, lasts well into late afternoon/early evening.

Atmotic is a top favorite. My other top favorite is John Frum. In other words...a tie. I can't narrow it down. Then...it's long line of PAA fragrances I really really like.

Technically, I'm now out of PAA soaps to rotate (although a shipment will carry me another day, gets here Friday, but I'm traveling for the weekend). I still have a couple of after shave/cologne bottles and good number of samples though.

Lastly...I did get a bunch of packages today!

Polished Blackland Vector (finally!, ordered 9/2019). Also L'Occitane Eau des Bavx EdT, and their Cade SC. The Eau De Bavx receives many reviews of being a near identical clone to Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. Last box...another 30DC enablement, A&E's Vanille de Tabac. Yeah....I'm addicted :love029: :ashamed001: to tobacco vanilla combinations.

Hope everyone had a great Wednesday! I've tried to keep up....not completely successful though. 664CD39A-89EE-4701-B17A-9DCD8796A1DE.jpeg

You’re going to love that Vector, Blair! My favorite AC razor! L’Occitane products are great! I use their Cade balm and Soap, and have been using their BAVX Deodorant for years.
