Fantastic report and photo, Joe. Glad even your least favorite razor in the stable is tame in your hand. Looking forward to hearing how your straight shave goes :)

Fantastic pics and shave report, Andrew. That razor almost looks like something you'd run across in a car show--full on polish and gorgeous lines :)

Looks wonderful, Evan. I agree about Ramblin Man. The initial response is, "Hmmm, nothing special," but when it settles down, that's when the magic happens ;)

Great report and nice run through your PAA soaps, Blair! Congrats on all the new goodies!

Thanks, Gary. Frankly, I was blown away by how well that shave went. Beginning to see why you like these things so darned much ;)

Thanks for the kind words, Joe. They are much appreciated :)
Thanks, Perry. It was an adventure. I probably should have added that the only words to the song he knows are... you guessed it... Spiderman (pronounced Pie-ner-man)
Thanks, Clint. They were a wonderful surprise from a very generous member :D

Great reports, Blair! Glad you finally got that razor--hope it's worth the wait (and more). I've heard some great things about the Atmotic and John Frum this month--you're definitely in good company :D

    Thanks, Jim--I'm super stoked!
Yeah, this is definitely a Sophie's Choice moment: lose the Variant, the Ever Ready 1912, or the MMOC? Gonna be a few sleepless nights before the end of this month

Anyone have any luck with ordering blades from India? They seem to have alot of factories there . Also , has anyone ever tried a Gillette 365 blade before ?
Ive ordered from Russia before with no problems but these are dirt cheap prices in India.

I haven't tried the Gillette 365 blades but I have ordered from India. My Gillette Winner's were shipped from Mumbai. No problems.

I was just wondering about customs and shipping times .
I got some Winner's from Andrew and they are fantastic blades . Looking at the 365s, 7 o'clock greens and Wilkinson sword brands .

Let me guess-he was JUST getting ready to smile when you shot that. By the way, I thought of you guys while watching an Animal Planet program of successful adoptions. A dog was brought in to a family that was seriously considering adoption. The family included a young boy named Declan.

With all these new PAA soaps, I hope Clyde Smitty doesn't throw out some of those that have been around awhile.
