  3. Thank you Gary. When a soap gets close to being finished I tend to use it more often.

  4. awesome shave and pic Jason.doubt they will take your card ,there are people who are smart enough to stay off the roads.you are one of them..good to stay out of the way of emergency and road clearing crews.nothing worse than being an obstacle..:)
  5. i have a tub of cella that is almost 3 years old.i keep using it infrequently and it seems fine, but you know the rumours.
  6. thank you Clint.taking advantage of all the white..:)
  7. fantastic shave and pic Jim,good morning..
  8. fine flare tip shave and pic Tim.i use mild razors (most gillettes) every day.and an adjustable on 9 for s,,ts and giggles once in a while for the man star..in essence the milder razors require a little more dialing in .the blade does the cutting.the razor a holder.just technique is key here..
  9. Thank you, Jim!

  13. I grew up in the Southern Rockies in NM, and if you had asked me 25 years ago if I would ever live in some place like Houston, I would have said no way. But as I get older, I definitely like the warmer weather.

    Razor: Feather DX Folding Pearl
    Blade: Feather AC Professional
    Brush: Razorock Plisoft Barber 24
    PS: Proraso Red
SS & AS: Stirling Deep Blue Sea

I face lathered the Stirling which seemed to work fine. Started with a very dry lather and had to add water to the brush. It worked. I like the Feather DX. It did feel a lot more like a SR than my other shavette. Still a little different.

The angle was easy to maintain. Rushed mornings are the norm so I did a 2.5 pass shave only going XTG on my cheeks. Results were good but not great. I did nick my chin. Considering I was squeezing a shavette shave into my normal morning shaving window, I think I did okay.
