Tonight's shave 48-50 Aristocrat Feather(2) Fine Platinum Semogue 830 Witch Hazel with Tea Tree Oil Nivea moisturizer In the morning, Fine Platinum aftershave
Thanks brit. This was my second shave with it. The first wasn't great and I thought there may be something wrong with it. I guess it was just the blade. I used a Nacet(2), my usual go to blade and was shocked at how hard it was to get a smooth shave. Tried it again with the Feather and was very happy with it.
make sure the knob is tight and check blade alignment.they are usually smooth shavers.the 48-51 is said to be more efficient than the smoother 46-7 version.i passed on my 1950 set as i liked my 46-7 more..try riding the cap a bit to dial it in..good luck..
I think I may have figured out the problem. It looks like the hinge point on on of the doors may be bent a little causing it to bind a little. When I close the doors, I can gently push the door fully closed closer to the center bar. Then when I open it, it kinda hangs. The door doesn't open all the way with just the knob, I have to give it a little assistance.
good that you found an issue.you will have to make minor adjustments.it was probably dropped at some point there are folks here who can assist if you need .post a new thread and one of them will answer at some point..good luck..
