RazoRock Syn.24mm P & B Spitfire Occams Enoch Schick Proline [ 4 ] Pitralon Original A/S Lotion My fourth Shave with the Enoch,which was better than last time though not totally satisfactory. I found that I needed to spend quite a lot of time on polishing up work to get a better finish.
Thursday's Shave Cold Water Rinse "AMBRE" мыло для бритья жировое Jayaruh #380 Ever-Ready 1914 Army GEM Stainless SE CWR Aqua Velva Musk My prep was just a cold water rinse. I will be using the "AMBRE" мыло для бритья жировое for the rest of the week. It is made in Russia. It translates to "AMBRE" greasy shaving soap. I got it from Vintage Life as a pif. The "AMBRE" Shaving Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #380 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Ever-Ready 1914 Army razor with a GEM Stainless SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Whether it will stand the test of time like vintage Gem bladed razors remains to be seen but for smoothness and efficiency it more than matches them. Schick Type D, Schick Proline B-20, shave 10. I changed up the water on this shave to distilled water. It did make a difference but not enough to get to a BBS finish like I've gotten out of this razor before. Next up is to use a Personna blade.
SOTD Thursday - Jan-16-2020 Razor : Oneblade Core version 2- MFG 2019 Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE modified (9) Soap Haslinger Schafmilch Brush : Razorock Noir 400- great brush Pre-shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a Dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Post shave : Razorock XXX with witch hazel + Nivea balm. Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Have some great shaves!
Fri 17th Jan The Grosvenor [404 mixed ] TBG Soap Occams Oren -Plate 3 Feather Proguard [ 7 ] TBG 6th Sense A/S Lotion Decided after some not so good Shaves with the Occams Enoch to try my well used Oren. I had thought that some of the not so good Shaves might be attributed to the fact they were in a seated position and not so comfortable as standing. However, todays Shave from a seated position was Smooth and comfortable and without any problems I got a very nice close all round finish, Shave Time not as long as yesterday. I am hoping that a change of blade may improve the performance of the Enoch.

Pre-shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on the beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Post shave : Razorock "The Dead Sea" aftershave with witch Hazel + Nivea balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation+ no weepers = Have a great shave!
I had a very enjoyable shave with two razors from J.A. Henckels today. Sterlings Almost Heaven on SHD two band badger provided great lather.
