Sunday morning shave, 13/16 Cape 2000 Swedish Steel, cream was AdP Colonia lathered with a Simpsons 58, and AdP balm and cologne finished up. I always look forward to AdP, Colonia always makes a morning better.
Edit: apparently I grabbed a Cape 1000 instead of the 2000 - they’re identical except for the stamp and the degree of hollow!
This sharp little razor cut through 5 days of stubble, without an issue. Just for fun, I started with an ATG pass, that was very noisy, but very very smooth. I then did a XTG pass, that resulted in a BBS shave. Great razor, and one of my favorite makers. Razor- F.W.Engels Special. J.A. Schmidt & Sohne Dreiturm 14 The soap is the unlabeled offering from Razorock. Picked it up during their moving clearance and it is very nice. I really appreciate what Italian Barber brings to market. Great shave! Enjoy your shave. Tom
cool shave Tom.i should have my razorock unlabeled tomorrow.looking forward to using it.their dead sea soap is fantastic .hope its as good or better.is it a nice fougere scent?
I’m not sure I would call it a Fougere, but I like it. Dead Sea is my wife’s favorite from the bunch of Razorock I have, and I agree. Interested to see what you think Gary. Edit: looks like IB calls it a Fougere, so who am I to disagree . Smells like a light cologne scent to my nose.

Shave 67 on the Filly Sub Cero, added 20 linen after this shave. Cream was SMN lathered with a Keyhole 3, and a dab of SMN body balm finished up. This is as far as any razor that I’ve tested got, and the SC is still soldiering on.
This is only the second time I’ve shaved with this stubless skinny old lady. I bought it as I wanted a razor from the late 1700s and this appears to be from that time period (maybe early 1800s.) It’s very crude and primitive. @gssixgun cautioned me when he honed it that it would never shave like a top tier vintage razor. He was right. Today’s shave approached a DFS after three passes and touch ups. But, the age beats the quality for attraction as it’s not every day you can use a razor that’s been around this long. PS - if anyone has a clue about the markings, please let me know. It came to me from France. I know this is boring to post the same razor again , but it's what I used today. I used VDH soap with an Atomic Rocket brush. After shave was Sea Breeze followed after a show with Aqua Velva. Having been able to try several high end tube and puck soaps, honestly I would just as soon to use Van Der Hagen. The rather large Atomic Rocket makes a good SR type lather quickly well hydrated.
Kikuokan MWF homemade brush Pinaud Special Reserve O.K., from here on in I'm going to start complaining about snow. We had another blizzard this weekend. 50 + mph winds and big drifts.

5/8 Puma 68 In-Ox Had a fantastic shave with this Vintage Solingen blade .Edge felt smooth as silk. She has some hone wear But still is a wonderful shaver.
Herr & Razor grinning 7/8 - I think this razor is a homage to the SK line of Japanese razors. The last shave was little rough so I touched her up on a Shapton Glass 16k and diamond pasted strops and now all is good again.
