It's a good-looking razor, Jeff. Is the correct angle difficult to find and maintain?

Thanks, Gary! I have never had to work so hard with a razor. I’ll try it on a lower setting tomorrow.

Thanks, Jim. I’m thinking that may be the case. I’ll crank it down and see if that’s the case tomorrow.

Don't reach for this soap much and there is no good reason not to.
Worked up a very nice 'n creamy lather with a modicum of shine:

Slickness was all there as well.
The Blade of choice today was a vintage Gillette Platinum. I cleaned it with a cotton swab
and some 90% alcohol before loading and I probably didn't do it any favors.
It was smooth but I fear I may have dulled it.
Had to work hard with the Feather and while I ended up with an excellent shave,
I don't like to work so hard to get it.
Excellent scent with the Nectar Amissa.
    From the NO website:
Nectar Amissa, meaning 'Lost Nectar', is a soap that leads the way with a black tea from Tibet and Rose Absolute. To bring the forest to life we have essential oils of Cypress, Fir Needle, Geranium, Patchouli and a touch of Bergamot.
I mos def© get the Rose Absolute, but it is much more complicated than that.
Excellent product at a fair price.

I don’t think that’s the issue, Joseph, but it may be. I’ve been riding the cap, but the razor appears to drag. I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ll be cranking the adjustment down tomorrow and see if that improves things. At my point in life, my patience is such that if it doesn’t work out it goes. I have too many razors that I enjoy shaving with.

I would contact the company and maybe even get them to take a look at it . Could be just a bad one out of the bunch. I dont know much about those razors but at that pricepoint it's definitely worth getting it checked out.

Wow! Nice shave Joseph! Great lather .

I'm interested in knowing what RE will do if you send it in, if they do happen to solve your issue then I might send mine in as well.
