Sunday shave, Had to try a recent purchase in 2019 of a Schick injector J1 with some NOS platinum injector blades.
Some times you luck out with a nice razor when you buy on _bay with out it in your hand to feel weight and some other unknowns. Great shave!

Razor : Schick injector J1 type- MFG 1957-64
Blade: Schick Platinum NOS (3)
Soap: Barrister & Mann Seville
Brush : Yaqi Rainbow with brown whiskers 26mm
Pre-shave: Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Alum + cold water rise.
Post shave : Razorock Amici A.S with witch hazel + Nivea balm.
Results :9/10 or CCS,DFS,BsS + alum indicated minimal irritation + 1 blemish weeper =

fine stuff Paul imo..and their own creation..

This sharp little razor cut through 5 days of stubble, without an issue. Just for fun, I started with an ATG pass, that was very noisy, but very very smooth. I then did a XTG pass, that resulted in a BBS shave. Great razor, and one of my favorite makers.

The enjoyment of The General continues! I have never used the same razor on three occasions in a week unless travelling and even then I normally travel with two just to spice it up. So in reaching for it today and most importantly looking forward to stellar shave it would yield was quite telling. It did not disappoint.

Again, as with the first shave I went with First Line Shave Blue and it was again pretty awesome. The CK Eternity vibe is awesome with this soap and AS set.

Lovely two pass shave and as close as can be! Sunday done and the work week awaits. This evening shave was awesome and I really should get more evening shaves in. Hope the weekend was a good one.
