    yes, I’m using the Mach3. I have a three DEs (a Gillette Super Speed, Schick Krona, and an Assured) the Guard, and Schick Xtreme4. I had real trouble with the DEs due to technique.

    I doubt an SE is going to fix your problem. It's probably an angle and pressure issue. The Mach3 trains you to press so the floating head can do its work. You can't apply more than minimal pressure with any of the fixed head razors.

    Edit: So I switched from a Mach3 to DE about 10 months ago. Seems like a lifetime ago. At first I used very mild razors like the Vickings Blade Cheiftain and a Merkur 25C. Looking back the mild razors probably helped because they punished me less when I forced the razor across my face.
