You, my friend, have shaved in one week about as much as I do in 3. Don't mean this as a criticism, just an observation. Must be one of the "bennies" of me being retired, I guess! Shave on brother, shave on!
I’m retired as well, but do enjoy shaving daily. Sort of helps to structure and start each day for me. I just don’t shave at 5:30 AM anymore.
I too had all these good thoughts of sleeping in daily. But, then we got this miniature poodle and guess when he figures he needs to go out in the morning? Yea, that's right! 5-5:30 as regular as clockwork. Oh well!!!
My little guy, Gromit, actually likes to sleep in! He won’t budge until at least 7:30. My kind of dog!!
I love the feel of a clean shave and shave even when I skip my shower. I'm not retired, but when I was off work for 2 weeks over the holidays I still shaved every day. Funny because 2 years ago I shaved once a week about the time the beard itch started. I'll post a box shave everyday I have the box. When I had it last there was a shortage of soaps I was interested in. I think that has changed now.
O You're lucky! Our Jack is so habit driven he does what he does most everyday within an hour window of each thing. Up 5-5;30 and looks for breakfast as soon as he gets back in. Walk at 10ish with lunch at 11ish. Walk again close to 2pm/1400 and supper/dinner around 4pm/1600. Last walk close to 5pm/1700 and bed around 9-9:30PM. Counts heads and doesn't settle until "everyone" is in the house. Jack
Thanks for putting me out to pasture. Just kidding. I’ve been saving daily for over 37 years when a college girlfriend complained my stubble irritated her cute face. In my 20s and 30s it was suits , ties and a daily shave. If I had a date or dinner to go to after work it was a quick afternoon shave at the office and a clean shirt. Now it’s just a morning ritual after my coffee and before my shower. Guess I’ve always liked the feeling of a clean shaven face. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
