  1. Funny, I have a lavender soap from Music City Suds and it has a nice smoky sweet scent. By the way, this company doesn't make shaving soap any longer, but is now just a bar soap maker.

  5. Cryogen is marketed as the coldest soap on the market so there isn't any more up from it. I have used it twice and I wasn't desensitized because it was so cold. However, I knew was I was getting into the second time around so the shock wasn't as great. The cold feeling was still at the same intensity as the first shave with Cryogen.
  6. Ok ok . Before I get this shave report started , I have a confession to make. In my last post about the snowblowers I was bragging the cut didnt hurt . That was until I got some Proraso menthol preshave in the cut. I felt a tear coming to surface but after my ' manly' post the other night , I figured it was best to hold it in. Anywho...enough babbling ...here is my shave pic.

  7. Gave it a test run . So far so good . Just need to modify belt guard to fit the other blower.
  8. As always, superb gear and shave, Keith!
  9. Patrick, I see you did very well in @jluc, Jim's photography class.
  10. Ha, he's been following my wife around the house since she got home. She had to run an errand and he flew over to her as soon as she picked up her purse.

Earlier he was imitating the sounds of my power drill as I was working through the honey-do list. So, he's a credit theif too.

    :D Thanks for asking Patrick.
  11. Look at you color coordinating your shave. Now who has a tear in his eye.

  12. A quick Google search shows that menthol feels cool due to stimilating cold receptors the same way capsaicin stimulates heat receptors. This suggests you can get use to menthol just like you can get use to spicy food.
  13. Great looking shave and photo Patrick. I bet the menthol in the cut did get a reaction.
  14. I’m sure y’all will get your RA sorted! Never met Matt, but always have had quick service from Razor Emporium. Will be following your findings!
  15. He said I'm a slow learner but I'm making a bit of progress. Thanks Joe!
    Just following your lead Jim!

Thought I was going to have to but managed to escape . Then I noticed 1 bolt wouldn't thread in hole . I'll check that out on a warmer day. Its holding well with 3 bolts now .

Thanks Clint! I was about to swear then I realized I never swore during the entire swap so no sense tarnishing my record. And that was a first btw .

  17. I think that's hilarious Evan. He would be good for recreating that sound your vehicle makes when theres a problem and you take it into the repair shop.
