Wednesday January 22nd SOTN

As the Oneblade Feather blade was spent, I went back to the Enoch / Proline combo and was not disappointed . Sandalwood slickness and no irritation after 2.5 passes. I definitely need to have a lighter touch with these blades but they will reward with a smooth and comfortable shave. Feeling great for bed. Happy shaves all!

After a successful if a bit strange head shave earlier it's time to go to the main event. Starting to snow lightly and they are forecasting rain, sleet, snow, ice for the next couple of days. Or not. Depends on the freezing line. Could be rain. Could be snow. Could be ice. Could be fire and brimstone for all they know. Whatever it is I'll be shaved and ready.

Second night on the New SC Deluxe with Sharp Star. The 30 DC LE Meet up brush with that great SynBad knot really chewed the soap up. Definitely widened the ring of death a bit. I'm thinking a couple more weeks and the Soap Commander should be toast. Great slick lather and three passes with a classy and smooth razor/blade combo and the baby is in the house and I'm smooth from the top of my head to the bottom of my neck. No redness or other irritation either so keep those redneck comments to yourself!! Have a great Thursday!!

Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20) & Tea Tree Antiseptic (10)
Tipple:- A fantastic cold beer of Guinness for an enjoyable relaxing shave.

Oh Man!..... What a real pisser.... I mean is soooo bloody WARM tonight, feels about 32 degrees and I needed a shave without having the strong scent from the soap filled the whole bathroom like hell on a very warm summer night.

I really enjoy Barrister & Mann 'Nordost' not enough smoky scent from the soap, but, a very good smell of orange on a very warm summer night when you needed a shave so badly.

 

Tobacco Thursday
Solid shave today. I think I could dial down to 5 with the Astra blade and still get a great result. This time I got a couple weepers.
