I upgraded the Hiram today by fitting it with a Plate No3 from the Oren [ they are interchangeable ], fitted without problems and the blade lying nice and flat. Though not aggressive the combo has a nice degree of blade feel, which helps determine the progress of a Shave, The Shave itself was very smooth and comfortable and I had no problems getting an ultra close all round finish.In fact this Razor is very good working ATG and around the jawline and lower neck, areas where other Razors are not so good.
I am more than happy with this purchase now that I have overcome the initial problem of a poorly made retaining plate. For me beats the performance of a King Cobra hands down.

Two passes and touch ups with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher razor with a Gem Star Duridium SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Had a great shave today with the Enders speed razor and a shick proline B20. Mer Shavings fougere orange has been my go to soap on Sundays and usually Mondays I LOVE the scent of this soap. The two band badger is also a great brush. This was a great combination all together.

Sunday shave Jan 26th-2020- Thought I would reminisce from a blast from the past using my Stick Schick injector brought me back driving down the road 1970's with my 65 Barracuda small block (273 4 barrel) don't laugh it blew the doors off a 318 Plymouth Duster. My buddy was laughing at my car because his mother bought him a nice used Plymouth brown Duster two door. Called him out to the 1/4 mile out in the sticks that was marked out from a earlier Generation and there was a lot of young teenagers wanting to see my car lose more than likely. When the flag girl dropped the flag(jacket) down I went out not burning rubber & my transmission & engine screaming mercy as I shifted and gained a second or two while he was trying to catch me. When I beat him he wanted another retry I said no because he was determined to win and he saw his mistake of spinning tires at the starting line. He never laughed at my car after that humiliation he deserved.

Razor : Stick Schick injector theme razor L type- MFG 1973

Soap : Williams mug soap (new version) worked well with this densely packed Yaqi 24 mm brush.
Brush : Yaqi Timberwolf synthetic 24 mm- excellent brush to whip up hard soaps like Williams.
Pre-shave : Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Pinaud Clubman with witch Hazel + Nivea balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=

Not much else to add about this razor except I am running out the blade in this razor before it gets put on the sideline for a bit.

A back to back Shave with the Hiram on plate 3, and the first standing up for a while since breaking my leg. A no problems Shave, with a super finish on the upper parts, but as I rushed it a bit could have been better around the neck.

GEMonday for myself today, I nailed this shave with my Gem Featherweight with a new Gem coated blade. This razor is such a joy with a new Gem blade and is excellent for breaking in a new Gem blade that is one of the sharpest smoothest blades MFG in the shaving world IMO. I figured I would have a close shave with a new blade but not a BBS. It can sometimes happen like some one mentioned when you are not aiming for dolphin skin smooth BBS shave.

Razor : Gem Featherweight(1oz) standard model-Mfg 1950-53
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (1)
Soap: Santa Maria del Fiore "Firenze"- great soap to use if you like light tobacco, vanilla.....
Brush : Razorock Plissoft 24 mm.
Pre-shave: Shower+ brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: AVON "True Gent"cologne with witch Hazel- very nice tobacco ............+ Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers =

I had a very nice shave with the Gem Jr this morning. This was my first time using a Meijer branded SS blade. The dispenser box is marked AccuTec Blades. The shave was quite smooth. If these hold up well and are consistent it will be nice to buy blades locally. And of course Mer Shavings Fougere orange was wonderful on SHD two band badger.

I believe you have both the spees razor and the speed shaver? I have both and am going to do a comparison shave with the two soon. My last shave with the speed razor pointed to it being slightly more aggressive, although it may have been a fluke.
It would be interesting to see others opinions on the difference if any in the shave between the two.
