    Thanks Tim!
I noticed early on that a razor that looks well used, there is a reason.
Most time because it's a great shaver.
    You got a Nice 1912, I'd say!

Fantastic shave, Jim. I'm down for anything that's a homage to AV (Sacre Blue--that's an awesome name :happy102:). I heard, somewhere that the CVS version of AV is actually closer to the classic version than modern AV. I'd be curious to see what the difference is. As always, beautiful photo!

Thank you, Perry. I did do a bit of a blurb about this soap the first time I used it a week or two ago. This soap maker is local here, but does have soaps on a few vendor's sites, included WestCoast Shaving. Clint and I were saying this may be the only decent soap to come from a craft fair, but it looks like she has bigger aspirations. This one is vegan, but will have a tallow base coming soon. Apparently they are rendering the fat themselves. The splashes are pretty standard witch hazel based products and I find them definitely a notch or two below the soaps.

Another wonderful shave, Clint. Love the pine needles, and that brush handle fits into the scene so nicely. Enjoy hope you enjoy you alone time (and that you enjoy your together time, for that matter).

    Thank you, Tim!
I think I picked up the modern stuff I have at Walgreens. I don't have any stand alone CVS's around me anymore. What is left nearby are just pharmacies inside other stores.

Thanks for the info! I must have missed that post. Was sort of buried at times last week.

Great shave and photo, Jim. That Lather Blaster sounds like it's doing all kinds of wonderful things. Again, PAA throws some things together that I would never have considered, but once hearing, sound like a fantastic combination :D

Great looking shave, Perry. I'm getting way ahead of myself, but I've already been cruising the Soap Commander site to figure out which scent I'm going to get to replace Drive when I hit the bottom, and it always boils down to 3 of them--Fortitude is one of those three. Enjoy the rest of your day :)

Yup, the good news is we'll never have to pick just one base.
I've been able to sample many of the scents by getting the bath soaps. The scents are very close to the shave soaps. It was how I got onto Felce Aromatica in the first place, and also how I have ruled a couple out. I have Mirto di Sardenga in the shower right now and I just don't find it that memorable. Dolomiti, and Cosmos were also just 'meh' for me. I liked Manna di Sicilia and would consider it in a shave soap for sure. I also had Stella Alpina and Tundra Artica and really liked one of them (I think it was Tundra, but haven't worried about it as it isn't available in the 4.3 base). Haven't tried Optunia or the 70th Anniversary at all. Bought the Colonia combo from Joseph, but knew what to expect from a AdP dupe. Cubebe was the only regular one I bought in a shave soap without trying as a bath soap first. I had it on good recommendation, though...:eatdrink047:
No kidding they last forever, but I'm not going to rehash the cost per usage discussion again.

Great Tabac Tuesday shave! I love what the finish of the Supply razor is doing in the reflection. Almost looks like Damascus steel :)
