Got the fever. Bought one and my finger is a on the buy it now "button" for another.

I picked up a couple of Japanese blades, a Cape and a R. Saito.

 

my recent Herder bender.

 

A R. Saito! Is it on the smiling razors?

thanks speedster. I have plans of doing some carved or scrimshaw scales on these. It should keep me entertained for some time.

 

The R. Saito arrived today.

 

I was surprised at how thinly ground the Saito razors are.

 

Just won this pair of Jacob Ray 6/8 Straights .One in Buffalo Horn the other in Camel bone .

 

I saw those, and due to work issues, couldnt make it to the computer in time. Great catch.

 

The grind on my SK-3 is amazing, very thin and with a smile.

That Saito is sexy, I want one! I guess for now I’ll have to settle for this old thing, a white-scaled Filarmonica 14 Novodur, to make a black-and-white gentleman’s pair with my black scaled Sub Cero. Full width, 8/8 and bevels so tiny they’re hard to see. This thing is thin.

And I have a dresser case that fits these big boys!

 

Still got the fever...

Is there more in the mail? Hmmm.

 

Hey @oscar11 let us know how you like that Cape 650. I’ve been resisting, but it reminds me very much of a Dovo Bismarck without the thumb notch.
