I've got this one on the way. I will post a photo and review later. https://divewatchesblog.com/reviews/casio-mdv106-1a-review/
Bought this for 50 bucks the other night. Comes with 3 Nato straps too. Been worn and the crystal shows it but when it arrives I'll either polish scratches out or replace crystal.
I Don’t know why but I’m a Sucker for Green in a Watch and That’s a Nice Watch. Sent from my iPhoneXR using Tapatalk
Did anyone hear about that veteran who bought a Rolex in the 70's for $345, never wore it, and now its worth $700,000? https://www.insider.com/antiques-roadshow-veteran-learns-rolex-is-worth-700000-video-2020-1
I don't know where the guy came up with those numbers but you'd never see me paying that much for a watch. That being said there are people out there who have money to burn and would snap it up in a heartbeat. What a world we live in.
I agree! Even if I could afford it, I would never pay that much for a watch - I could get several cars and still donate most of it, for example.
I got my wife a Shinola for our 20th Anniversary in December. She had mentioned once that to own such a watch was a bucket list item for her. #hubbypoints I had to sell some razors, but it was worth it!
Hard to find a negative review including YouTube https://divewatchesblog.com/reviews/casio-mdv106-1a-review/ And for protection https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q3Q5NVN/?tag=thshde-20
I do think you will be as impressed as I was. The instructions for how to unwind the crown are at the bottom of the page. After setting the time, I did have to push down while screwing downward a bit.
If you opt for a Nato band, 22 mm is the size. Mine cost $8. Movement: https://www.esslinger.com/miyota-watch-movements-citizen-ltd/
