Well, one month down in the new year and I'm still rechecking my dates to make sure I'm not putting down 19. Anyway, to start the month of love I went full Proraso Wood and Spice. I also went full copper with my new Charcoal Goods Copper Lvl 2, Zenith M15, and Captain's Choice Heavy Copper Lather Bowl. The blade was a Lord Extra SS. Just a nice close shave. Saturday 1st February Maseto 24mm 2BB - TOBS Organic Shaving Cream - Supply V1/Proline B - Florida Water I bought this razor some time back and just could not get a decent shave so it was relegated to the back of the SE drawer. My requirements have changed somewhat and I have been spending time perfecting my shaves with milder razors. It took the full 3 passes but today's results were excellent. I will certainly be using this one again!

●London Morning soap ●PTFE stainless Compared the 1912, Guiding Eye, and the G-Bar with the same blade. '12 is the smoothest and best performing for me. The Eye was similar but not quite there. The G-Bar dragged in comparison, regardless of angle, even going over areas the '12 has just shaved. Weird, I used to love the G-Bar. So I am quite happy with the elder of the three. Now all I need is the long chain link handle to replace the serrated/fluted shorty it comes with.

Happy February . I opened the month by finishing off my trifecta(3 straight days of): prep-Dial 4 Men Bodywash(Max. Moisture)in shower shave-Central Texas Soaps(Weekend Rodeo) brush-Stoylin 14x51 Synth. razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot + DisposeABLE A.S.-Central Texas Soaps Splash(Weekend Rodeo) Solid shave-2 good passes, no cuts. Maybe a little too much time under the tap for the brush, thus there was blooming involved that I didn't expect. But as I am the Veep of that esteemed organization, that was OK. No senstitivity issues as result of the aftershave application-maybe it is becoming ONE with my face and neck. Grade-Pretty Excellent. On to the next soap.
