Interesting thoughts on the B&M, Keith. I believe that soap is from the Glissant base days. I have Seville in that base and I will pull mine out soon too for a comparison. Btw- Nice Omega. Is that a Seamaster, Mr. Bond?
Lesson 1 The ex wife figured out NOT to leave the AP flower where the kids could get hold of it and go a talk on the phone. Lesson 2 Peanut butter doesn't come out of carpet, regardless of how well the kids spread it out. And an entire jar goes a long way. Lesson 3 Bean bag chairs are NOT filled with beans. This was embarrassing at the time. Now its just funny. tp
Sad experience has taught me that butter and Crisco are the 2nd most difficult substances in the world to clean up. The 1st, ironically, is dish soap... ugh!
My ears are burning, Jason. So is my face. First time I pop in since August (yow! time flies!) And you're mentioning my name. And mentioning how you haven't got a Karve since you would be embarrassed to after we lost that bet... Meanwhile, I bought one in September: brass, 3.5" handle, Open Comb " C" plate plus a stand to hold it. Beautiful razor and a smooth shave. I suggest you get one!
Hey guys. Sorry I was away so long. Things just sort of piled up and then time got away from me. Now that I am back at the start of this month - and only 20 pages behind already (!), I will stick around, try to keep up, and post my shaves. I generally shave every two or three days rather than daily right now. Still using DE or injector razors, brush, soap and splash when I do though - I haven't suffered any electric relapses.
John! Great to see you posting again! You bought a Karve? My last tie to restraint might have just been severed...
Thanks, Jeff. That means a lot, considering your summaries are one of the highlights of the day for me. Gear, process, anecdotes and thoughts--ticks all the boxes!
