What a brutal day this one was, other than the weather. It hit 70 degrees here in the Lou, setting a new record high for February 2nd and seriously looking and feeling like Spring. It won't last. But it was a nice preview. Work was absolutely, well, not good but....the Chiefs just won the Super Bowl!! This 50 year thing for teams around here is working!

Backing up to finish the third shave on the Wunderbar and Voskhod today and take another swing at the Soap Commander death march. The big Stirling synthetic did its part in helping reduce it further. Great lather for a super smooth shave with the slant razor. Two passes and a little touch up and the baby is in the house and I can put my feet up and relax for the night! Hope you all enjoyed the day. Here's to a great Monday!

  5. Fresh off the stones. Fantastic, and noisy 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. This is a thin ground razor, that acts thick, because the steel is so hard and stiff. Not one issue. Fantastic razor. I love this brush too, by @oscar11 . He sure can make a beautiful brush.

A wonderfully smooth and error free Razorock GC JAWS shave tonight thanks to slick almondy Cella awesomeness. 2 days were no match for this combo tonight. I truly think it's my favorite GC baseplate of the three that I have - I haven't used the other 2 in quite some time . I'm smooth and smell great for bed. Happy shaves all.

First shave with a Schick Proline AC blade graciously sent to me by forum member jgreenepa. Without question the shave was smoother and just as efficient as the Feather Artist Club Professional blade I had been using. Plus, post shave face feel much improved over the Feather.
Now to search for a reliable supply.

    Cold Water Rinse
    Eskimo Tuxedo
    Bunny B-400 by Tom
    The TAR by Tom
    Gillette Silver Blue
    CWS
    Osage Rub

The Eskimo Tuxedo Shaving Cream face-lathered well with Bunny B-400 by Tom badger brush. It is very cold. The first pass on 4 and second pass and touch ups on 2 with the TAR by Tom with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The more I use this new formula from Declaration Grooming, the more I appreciate the difference in thickness and post shave feel. The photo is after lathering for my last pass - I squeeze up the lather to use it efficiently and to make cleaning the brush easier. I hope you can see the sheen there. Mysterium serum is the real deal for my skin - leaving me refreshed and smooth. As I grow my hair longer I appreciate Tabac creme even more. It is not a pomade and does not offer control, but it does limit frizz while allowing the hair to do it's thing.

Spectacular shave. The Monster w/the COB whipped up so much lather, I had enough left that my wife could have shaved her legs. In fact, I made that suggestion to her. She didn't seem pleased. The One Blade is great. I'm glad I finally have a single blade razor that gives me such wonderful shaves.
