  1. Makes me wonder if one of the artisans should consider formulating a "high-heat" soap? That would be one way to create a niche in an already crowed market. I'm sure PAA could come up with an interesting title and product label. ;)

IMG_4522.jpg Feb Fave Combo #4. Love the Fine base and the L'Orange Noir is a favourite scent for sure. Matched it with another Terre D'Hermes dupe, the Arkadia. For a favourite injector, I could have picked either the E or the G, but since I used the G a few times last month, I picked the E. Great little shavers. The brush is a fave because it was my first attempt at a distressed top, a la Romera. The big 30mm SynBad is a wall of goodness as well. There is a bit of difference even from the 28mm one, to be honest.
Very nice 3 pass shave this morning and after a little buffing I am quite smooth.
    Have a great day all!

    Razor: Gillette RedTip
    Blade: Voskhod (4)
Brush: @jtspartan with 24mm Badger and Boar hybrid knot
    PS: Proraso Red
    SS: MWF
    AS: Old Spice

I've been waiting to use this brush and bowl for over a week. I was waiting on a knot. Jason does beautiful work and these two pieces are now prized possessions. I like the hybrid knot. It seems to provide a great comparison between badger and boar.

As always the MWF lathered up great in the bowl and on the face. Shave 4 with the Voskhod is still great but starting to turn the corner. I've never tried 5 because at $.08 each I never saw the point. Will try tomorrow just to see.

Another blood free shave BBS everywhere but the troubled spots on low on my neck. This shave was fast as well. I know fast isn't always a plus but weekdays are tough for most of us.

The watch is a 2012 Bulova Precisionist. Got it as a 5 year gift from my employer. The battery dead and its been in my drawer for 5 years or so. My sweet wife had the battery replaced yesterday. I knew it looked nice but I had no idea it was actual a nice watch. I guess my company didn't cheap out on me back then. I didn't get anything nearly as nice at 10 years.
