  1. Thank you Patrick. I find the blacks to be more forgiving than feathers. I’ll go back and try feathers once I have the Rex on autopilot.

  3. Its been a busy couple of days here at work and I am in catch-up mode once again. Great shaves everyone! Danny, I'm sorry to hear about the drama with your tenant, finding good ones that will respect your property and treat it like their own is quite the task these days.
  4. Thank you, Andrew!

I think there's something going around. I called Patrick Perry and Jim called me Clint.

  12. You've got a winning set up there (minus the 5-shave Voskhod, of coarse). I didn't realize the bowl also came from Jason. Those are both wonderful additions to the den, Evan :D

  14. Fantastic photo, shave and report, Joe. 8 shaves on a half blade is pretty awesome. This month I've been using my son's Nivea Balm--I forgot just how wonderful that stuff is :)

  16. Thanks, Tim! I probably could have gone 10 shaves, but I didn't want to push it.

  17. Thank, Perry! I most certainly can not wait for this month to end, so I can bring menthol back into the rotation. Frost Drops have really transformed my shaving experience over the last half year or so. :)
  18. Yup, need to do this Shavette Fu style again:
What a great looking razor and what condition it is in! You have done a great job of enabling, Jeff. I have spent a few hours over the past several weeks checking out the vintages you have shown off. Some I hadn't heard of and others I knew next to nothing about. Subtle, my friend, very subtle.
Sorry to hear about the rental stuff you are dealing with, Danny. We'll leave the light on.
Very nice pic and combo! I am posting late enough that I guess I can say 'I hope the commute home goes well, Clint'.
Love the NEW LC, love the Glissant base and love the pic, Jim!
Welcome home, Jim, and two outstanding looking shaves for sure. Still a few more PAA soaps to go?
Very good news indeed on your friend's health, Joseph.
Now, about the brush. At least the label is straight...
Sorry to hear about the weather, Perry. I trust your day is safe and productive.
Good afternoon...Another great looking combo, Gary. Still getting snow there?
Another awesome looking photo, Blair! You make the AoS stuff sound fantastic.
Glad the bowl is working for you, Evan! I feel the same way about my mixed knot- I'm reserving full judgement until I get the sense that it is fully broken in.
8 or 9 on a Polsilver, especially with just using one side, is pretty amazing, Joe. I can see why you binned it.
Interesting thoughts on the Menthol, Tim. I've never thought about it that way. Congrats on the MMOC taming, btw!
  19. :happy102:That's great! And in the case of today's shave... true :happy102:

    Thanks, Jeff! :)

  20. Thanks, Clint! It's weird: a year ago I'd burn my face in the worst ways possible, but rarely any blood. These last two weeks, though... yeesh!
