Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Post shave: Razorock American barber with witch Hazel + Nivea balm for men. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Have some great shaves!

It is massive for sure. It is pretty aggressive, too. It requires riding the cap for me. Also, because of the weight, you have to hold it back a bit. You do however get used to it after 4 or 5 days.
This is another of the razors I sent out to Glen for a rehone. Holy cow - this one jumped up at least a notch and a half in performance. Absolutely fantastic shave today. I was ready to give up on this one. Glad I didn’t. Not only was the shave sharp and smooth, it’s about as close to a “bling” razor as I have. I’ve added a second photo highlighting the spine work. The Segal Adjustable (c.1947ish) may be of minor historic interest as the first with click settings (?) but I've never found it to be a particularly good shaver either in terms of smoothness or efficiency.
