    Agreed, Joe! I had an older 51 from the 30’s or 40’s, but it never shaved like this one! I hesitated about acquiring this one, boy am I glad I did!

    Wow, Patrick, stay warm and be safe. We’ve had the mildest winter on record here. Practically no snow, and when we did get it, it melted in a day or two!

    Thanks Jeff! We're been getting those old time winters like when I was a kid last few years. Great if you like the winter sports like skiing or snowmobiles.

    Lovely shave report, Tim! You’re not planning on shaving over the weekend? My father always used to say that regular shaving built up calloused tissue. I don’t agree, but am glad to hear you found a razor you really like. Nothing like a bloodless shave! Enjoy your weekend!

    I am shaving everyday of the week this month--I've got 7 razors that need to be evaluated 4 times this month. No days off ;)

    @timabababaluka let me know when you're ready to do the shavette focus, and I'll join you. As Chris says, you will do fine. It quickly moves from just being manageable to something that's rather fun. It's all about repetition and muscle memory, i.e. technique. :)

    I was planning on waiting till June, but I'm getting a bit anxious to start. If my Variant survives the 'Dead Is Dead' scores, I'll do a challenge to figure out Variant settings and technique in March. April 6th begins my Spring Break, and then I start with the shavette :D

    If my Variant proves unworthy, I might start even sooner out of sheer despondency--I'll definitely keep you posted :)
