@brit Here are the 2 probak razor heads I was talking about. The more aggressive one is the one on the left in both pictures. Best I can tell the curvature of the plates are slightly different, if that is the case then the one on the left will have some more blade gap than the other which could account for it being more aggressive. The left one is closer to Goodwill 160 the way it shaves while the one on the right is more like a New long comb.
This past week, I've been using my Slim set on 7 with a Feather blade with 3 shaves on it now. I got a few samples of Stirling in and have used Deep Blue Sea, Gatlinburg and Baker Street with Mountain Man on deck for Sunday. I've also just been doing 2 passes each shave. I don't know if it's the Feather blade or I'm finally getting my routine down but with 2 passes, but the pickups are almost nothing and they are super easy to get. I'm going to try 2 passes with a Nacet or GSB Sunday to see if that's it. And the soap is as usual with Stirling, AMAZING, and the a/s samples are the same. They are for sure future full size orders. No pictures because everybody's seen a beat up Slim before.
