    Friday night shave.

Tonight was my 5th and final shave with the Leresche 77 on loan from @jmudrick
This razor is a mild razor. Each shave got better. Tonights was an effortless DFS+.

This one of the few mild razors that I would put in my rotation. When you have the angle, the razor will start talking. For me it is a small window. Too much cap by a tiny bit and you loose blade contact.

Thank you Jeff for entrusting me with this French Beauty.

    Tom

    Saturday morning:

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/new Derby
    Bundubeard Rooi Afrikaner SS
    Fino ASB
    Aqua Velva Musk AS Splash

My first time using this new Rooi Afrikaner soap and I think it’s great. The scent is mild and very nice with herbal notes, at least to my nose, the lather works up easily, it’s very rich with lots of slickness so the blade was skating across my face. It’s a tallow based soap which Jaco came out with relatively recently, and it has excellent postshave care. The Fino balm felt so moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Aqua Velva Musk smells so nice, although my wife is not really a fan of it. Three passes gave me a hell of a close, smooth shave! :)

The Pharoah's Dreamsicle Shave Soap face-lathered well with Bunny B-400 by Tom badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Russian SHaDE Razor with Personna Half Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pharoah's Dreamsicle AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Terrific start to the day! Two pass, minor touch-up, BBS shave. I still marvel at the great shaves I get using the Fatip OC. Great value and top performer with several popular blade brands. All brass to boot!

    Soap: Italian Barber Amici
    Brush: Omega 10065 synthetic
    Razor: Fatip Grande
    Blade: Gillette Nacet (7)
    Aftershave: Italian Barber Amici

Great shave, Jeff! Glad the Enders did it for you! I picked up a NOS LaResche 51 recently! I’m on my third shave with it! I liked the 77, but this razor is just amazing! Smooth and incredibly efficient!

Wanted to wait for the '24 to show up but heading out soon, decided to shave. Did a 2nd shave-off. The 1912 once again shaved better and more smoothly than either the bullet tip or G-bar. Now to put it up against the '24.

3 pass BBS with a new Pal blue carbon and German Schick cream.

My new post-shave mix is Dickinson's with a styptic stick dissolved inside, followed by Lucky Tiger. The combo works great and feels great.

I'd like to start of my shaves of the week post by apologizing for the lack of posts over the last month, college has been hectic with practicals, so i haven't had that much time to take photos every week.

I had a few interesting shaves this week, the old Nivea shave gel i had in my cupboard actually performed amazingly, so well in fact that i might keep a can on hand for traveling, although soaps are far superior for me. The arko and bundubeard coffee never fail to disappoint, and both have retained their title of being my favourite soaps for almost a year now.

One of my less used aftershaves, Revlon pub featured heavily this week, and i don't know why i dont use it more because its a fantastic classic aftershave.

    Shave 1:
Razor: gillette super speed flare tip(US)
Blade: super max blue diamond (13)
    Brush: Omega 49
    Soap: Arko shave stick
    Aftershave: old spice whitewater

    Shave 2:
Razor: gillette super speed flare tip(US)
Blade: super max blue diamond (14)
    Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave
Gel: Nivea for men Extreme comfort
    Aftershave: Revlon Pub

    Shave 3:
Razor: gillette super speed flare tip(US)
Blade: super max blue diamond (15)
    Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave
    Soap: bundubeard coffee
    Aftershave: Revlon Pub[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Thayers unscented WH
