  1. I am a donor at times as well. Not nearly as often as being the recipient.
  2. Nice shave, Bill!
  3. Thank you, Patrick!

  4. Great conclusions on your shavette lab. I might add that the max number of shavette shaves on a blade depends on the blade, shaver's beard type, #hrs in between shaves, and skill of the shaver.
  5. Is this a fill in the blank? I am game. I live to give agita! Lol!
  6. Excellent report, Clint.
  7. Thank you Joseph. Coming from you that is high praise indeed.

  10. I was going to thank him for his kind remark about our shaves, but he may still be napping. :)

  11. I've been caught messing up names in here. Just a thing of confusing posts with the actual poster.

  12. One of those dealers choice things in my book for the long run.

Right here, you can find a guy tossing Feathers at 1, and another who Excaliburs them out for a month.

Guaging and extending blade life are advanced judgments and techniques best avoided during training periods.

  13. Picked a Klenzo B1133 pure badger brush today at a flea mall for $7.20. It had the original price tag on it and has never been use. The butterscotch handle is just gorgeous. The bottom picture is after a nice loving shampoo. Also picked up a pretty little Gillette I'll post some pictures of it a little later on. 20200208_174943.jpg 20200208_175515.jpg 20200208_181110.jpg

  15. I hope you heal quickly, Jeff. Hopefully, the surgeon will give you some encouraging news next week.

You enjoy cooking and you're apparently really good at it. Keep cooking and don't hesitate to use the knives, my friend. Enjoyment endures. The hollering is only temporary. :)

  17. Joe, it's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. You educate our children, man! Shouldn't you know this? ;)

  19. 1600 post since Monday????
No I'm not gonna get to them, wow!
Since I got my Gem New LC, I've used it. Got a wooden handle from Jim @Jayaruh to use on it.
Getting great results to say the least.
New blade each time, different soap and brush too.

Have some more tools to try out.
Get to them in the next few days.
    Really, really busy here.

  20. Picked this little travel kit up today at the flea mall. I don't think it has ever been used. The Gillete is coded W4 which is 4th quarter if 1951. I would hate to use that shaving brush. I think it is made out of nylon fishing line. :)
