  1. Thank you, Jim, she truly does not. I'll tell her you said as much.

  2. Thanks, Patrick, but I like my dog too much to lay that crap at his feet. :happy102:
  3. Thanks, Jeff. It was my understanding that she meant the combination of the two.

  11. Thanks Patrick, would be nice if I had something to keep my fingers from the business end of the blade.
After we get done eating, gonna visit Harbor freight to see if they have something else to mod blades.

    Hot Lather

    Razor: Gillette RedTip
    Blade: Voskhod (2)
Brush: JTSPARTAN with 70/30 hybrid knot
    SS: MWF
    AS: Axe Apollo

Broken record. Love the RedTip Voskhod combo. Shave 2 on a Voskhod is even better. I my try corking a few times to see it there is anything to it.

I think the MWF with the hybrid brush is my favorite as well. It loads faster and has a lot more scritch to it. The scuttle kept the lather so warm I jumped when applying lather for my 2nd pass.

Calling the shave DFS due to one small nick on the corner of my mouth. Smooth otherwise. Alum was warm but not bad.

  15. Sounds fantastic, Perry. Agree with you- so many good artisans have come and gone. Lots of choices these days still!

I feel very lucky to have found this place. If not for the 30DC crew, I'd still be struggling with a Merkur 23, Derby blades and worthless shave cream.
Now I shave with theses crazy things, first shave, great shave. Nice!
    That doesn't happen by accident.
I recommend a 30DC rule or two to get ya there.

I have never met Dr Mrs Primo, obviously, but I think we’d get along well. She definitely has a refined sense of smell...
