  1. I'm the exact opposite--I usually move onto a different razor only because I think it might shave better ;)

  4. Sorry, Jeff. I stopped writing it because I figured folks were getting tired of reading the same gear each week--I only included a photo after the first day

All software is the same for week 2: Kong brush, Sandpiper soap, AV Ice Blue AS, and Nivea Balm.

  5. Thanks, Joe. 30 years of cart shaving has really messed me up. Once I stop fearing a razor I start pressing harder and harder w/out realizing it. I might really need to get a tattoo on my forearms to remind me. :happy102:

  6. Glad you can laugh about it. However, you will have to get into the mindset about less pressure when you start shavette shaving.

  10. W/out a doubt. I'm taking the "Your aim is simply to wipe off the lather" advice pretty seriously. May even start applying it to DE's ;)

  11. Sounds like you’ve really tamed the beast! The entire shave at 5! Wow, I’m impressed! My skin would be lying in shreds on the floor with my unadjusted Rex. Hopefully, I’ll have a different experience when I get it back! I’ll follow your lead and start at 2-3.

  20. Thank you Patrick.
It was messy, because there was a lot of H2O still in the knot; added the cream and started face-lathering, ergo...sloppy. Not too thin.
