Thanks, Jason! When I think about my shave today, I’m reminded of my Barbasol which has delivered shaves as close as the LaResche. I just don’t need to concentrate as much!

That's my take on Filarmonica straights on Ebay. The selling prices on these vintage razors are outrageous. The asking prices are upwards to 300 dollars or more!

Great sounding shave, Jeff. I have no insight per se, but do know that I want one...

Congratulations, on waiting for the right price! Then again there are those of us (ie me) who should spend minimal time around really sharp object-related tasks like adjusting razor blades or, in my case, using my wife’s new cutco knife to dice peppers!

There is a LeResche model #34 that looks to be a dead ringer for a Single Ring OT, Gary.

That No. 22 is simply a stunning shaver, Gary. How is the scent of that cream holding up?

Yup, about 8 years to go and then you'll see some serious volume... or I'll be like Charlie and too busy with fun trips.

Another favorite razor. I had one little spot of blood on the neck where I hit a pimple or something while not paying attention.

Overall, it was a nice comfortable mostly bbs 2 pass shave. Enjoy your day.

Alright. Brush change up for tomorrow. I don't know if I've gotten used to the backbone or it's breaking in but it does seem easier to splay now. Either way, I've had a great run with it.
    Thank you for the compliment!

Y'know, now that my loading has improved, I might go to a drugstore that has the Burma Shave brush, and buy another. I hope your daughter gets better soon.

My plan has been to retire at 55. It's getting closer. I'll probably chicken out when the time comes.
