Things are copacetic in Clanton. 72 F and overcast. Smells like Soap Commander here. Will report back on Piggly Wiggly sightings.

If it's Tuesday, it must still be
Swedish steel and Belgium shave cream.
Indeed, the month is not yet half over and I am sticking with my focus.

    I think I can, I think I can...
Honestly, if the edge holds, out, I should not have any problems seeing through.
BTW, this success must be at least partially credited to @gssixgun who put the original edge on this razor.
I will take some credit for some DARN GREAT STROPPING. Booyakasha.

The BAUME.BE can be somewhat fickle. Now, it always delivers a great lather,
however, sometimes it appears "airy" other times it's "liquid gold".
You hear shavers talk of "dialing in" the lather. I used to poo-poo that phrase,
but the longer I am in this hobby, the more I can appreciate exactly that.
I will also say that shaving with a straight razor daily, really hones (pun intended) your skills.
No blood today, no irritation either.
The Ogallala Bay Rum (Double Strength) gave me a nice "wake up" tingle and a
terrific smell. The skin nourishment ain't too shabby either.

Sorry, Myles. In college one of my roomates left a bag of Sour Cream 'n Cheddar Ruffles potato chips out on the coffee table. Our rules were simple: in pantry = sacred. Out on coffee table = Dude! Have some chips, cookies, etc. I took half of a chip, popped it into my mouth, and once that sucker hit the point of no return realized that was a bad, bad chip. Rinsed my mouth out, gargled, and told my roomate. He said, "You ate one of those? I was cleaning out my pantry. That was an open bag of chips that has been in the pantry for two years." I was angry.

If I had known what the next 24 hours were going to be like, I would have killed him. At one point in time I was so exhausted I passed out on my bedroom floor. The last thing I remember was wondering how long would it take before my body was discovered, and how my parents would feel when they found out I died alone in an apartment out of state. I am prone to using hyperbole--it's a family curse--but I am being as literal as I know how when I say that I truly, literally, did think that moment on my bedroom floor was my last.

I still can't eat Sour Cream 'n Cheddar Ruffles.

    Get better soon, sir! :)

Wonderful shave, Terry. I've never heard of the Eagle Improved razor. Aside from de-splining, what other adjustments did you have to make in order to get such a great shave?
