Route 66 Bourbon Jungle today. 20 seconds to load the Wild West Brushworks/Elite Manchurian White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS in the Gillette NEW Long Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Highlands aftershave.

  2. Thursday morning:

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Derby day 6
Bundubeard African Potato X 3 SS
    Prep ASB
    Osage Rub AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel EdP

What a terrific shave this was and what a monstrous freeze. My Plissoft synthetic whipped up super thick, rich, slick lather from the African Potato X 3 soap which has such a delightful scent, the menthol sensation started immediately and by the time I picked up my razor my face felt totally frozen. The Prep and the Osage Rub aka the Rubby Dubby Doo were a perfect finish. I did three passes and I ended up with a corker of a BBS shave![IMG]

    Cold Water Rinse
    Vintage Life's Morning TOST
    Oscar11 synthetic
    The ALUMI-TAR by Tom
    Gillette Silver Blue
    CWS
    PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm

The Vintage Life's Morning TOST Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Oscar11 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with The ALUMI-TAR by Tom razor with a Gillette Silver Blue DE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. I started out on the equivalent of 6, but halfway through, I took off a little skin on my chin. I was too confident. I backed it of to 4 and finished easily. After a cold water rinse I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  5. Nice shave, Bob. Glad you got the photo issue worked out.

  11. 13 February 2020

Trying to stay true to my goal of using up creams as they have limited shelf lives compared to soaps. And the same goes for aftershaves that are approaching "empty". Of course my evil master plan is to show SWMBO that I'll need to order replacement stock in the near future. BWAHAHA! ;)

Good performers all this morning. That RR brush creates tons of lather!

    Brush: RazoRock Disruptor synthetic
