  1. I always say that it isn't cold until it's -40. Otherwise, just a nice Spring day in North Dakota. However, we had enough wind with this today to make me wince a time or two. Of course, my heavy winter coat that my wife bought for me about 10 years ago is exactly where it's supposed to be. Hanging in the closet. I have a hoodie that does me just fine.

  2. Not a bad idea, Perry. I think I’ll do just that.

  3. Going to hover around -30 in my neck of the woods for a couple days due to wind, which makes the cold miserable . One of my friends lives in a spot where -30 is the norm. I tell him he's crazy to stay there. I don't mind the cold , don't love it but -30 would get to me after awhile. Stay warm Neal!

Caught your lower lip? Ouch, Terry. Hope tomorrow goes a little smoother.
Amazing pic, Jim. Again, that brush did t look that stunning in real life...
One pass shaves? Hmm, Perry, I don’t think I’m there yet... Very nice photo!
I felt the same way about that cream, Clint. Ended up trading it to John, but he really liked it. Sounds like dialing that Rex backs bit is the way to go.
    That 77 sounds fantastic, Jeff!
Simply an amazing shot, my friend.
George Lazenby! I actually like George, but he had no chance with that script.
The Variant sounds great, Tim. I’m enjoying your focus for sure.
The pic was awesome anyway, Patrick.
I hear you on not keeping up, Jim. Love the photo effect and the combo.
Sounds like a good shave, Joe.I enjoyed the Stirling Bay Rum when I had it as well.
I just ordered some GSBs myself, Joseph.

    SOTD 02/14/20 Valentines Day

I used the same pic as yesterday! Software and hardware remained the same, so there was no need for a different picture. The Model 77 is an excellent shaver like the Model 51. One more two pass BBS shave, and again there was some minor irritation revealed by the alum block. The cause is operator error. I also don’t enjoy shaving with this razor as much as I do the Model 51. The sweet spot is not as generous, and requires more of me in the process putting more strain on arthritic joints on my head shave. I feel clean, smooth and refreshed.

    RAZOR: LaResche 77
    BLADE: Wizamet Super Iridium
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with PAA’s Preshave Cube Soap
    BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Thayers Lavender WH and finished with Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite AS Splash
