Thank you Jim. I think this cooling agent will work best for a soap or cream that you don’t want to alter the scent with menthol.

Great shave this morning with a new soap. The Imperial shave soap is a glycerin based soap but this stuff rocks. This soap whips up quick and has some of the densest lather I have experienced. It almost has the consistency of mayonnaise when whipped up. Cushion is amazing and the glide I believe is on par with most of my other soaps. I am going to spend a few more shaves with this soap before I make a call on the glide but this is definitely a keeper in the den. It is unscented and it is just gets the job done. The post shave feel is nice, just a nice fresh clean feeling. The ATT Calypso with an Astra blade and plate H1 did a great job with the soap. Hope everyone has a great Friday.

Crazy busy week....busy is good, no complaints, just limits time to keep up.

Quick follow up of my week's shaves. All were 2.5 pass shaves, 2 passes for the cheeks, then buffing and/or touch up for the lower neck. Results ranged from DFS+ to BBS. No issues with irritation or nicks/cuts. Products were all Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements PreShave Tube 2.0 or Proraso PS Red, PAA shave soaps and matching aftershave/cologne, and PAA's ASB, called Star Jelly. The razors: Rex Ambassador w/Gillette Silver Blue, Feather Artist Club DX (Kamisori style) w/Schick ProLine, J3Customs Kamisori, Drew Dick Damascus Steel w/Kirinite scales. Shaved with the J3Customs twice, it is awesomely smooth right now. The Drew Dick may need it's first 12k hone touch up since I've received it (Oct '19)....while it passes gssixgun's 'hair topping' test easily....it is shaving a little less smooth than usual. I'll try it on a very intensive round on the pasted leather strops first....and go from there after another shave.

Today's shave still fresh in memory....the Rex Ambassador was set a nudge past 6, against the wide open stop. WTG, then 2 legs of an X on the neck, BBS result.

Hope everyone has a Fantastic Valentine's Day and weekend!. Traveling again for another event in a couple hours.....wifey and I celebrated Valentine's yesterday.

Thanks for the well wishes, gentlemen! Another sick day, another mentholated shave. Iced pineapple followed by lemon chill AS FTW! Wow. I may become addicted to this stuff!
I also broke out my Chubby 2 super - reset on an Oscar11 handle. At one point I was trying to sell this brush, but today I pulled a Lee Corso (not so fast my friend), and decided that it is a keeper. I’m not sure what compelled me to want to sell it in the first place.
