SOTD, Feb 14th,2020- Still enjoying my Oneblade Core and still having some fun with it, today I experimented with a shim(.005 thousands of a inch thickness taped to the modified gem blade) it's a bit crude but effective. You can not get a closer shave with out potato peeling the skin. (excellent shave). The closer the shave the greater the chances of possible irritation as a rule of thumb IMO. I did notice a increase in blade feel because of larger blade gap with slight aggression & efficiency increase but nothing serious to worry about. But I enjoy just the regular shave with no adjustment to blade just as much. All my razors go through a gauntlet of testing & if I like the results it stays in rotation-(2 pass,3 pass,shim if possible,buffing,J-hooking & Gillette slide or Oneblade slide .) Razor : One blade Core 2nd version- MFG 2018> Blade : Gem SS PTFE modified (8) with a .005 tapped shim piggy backed on lower half. Soap : Razorock "What the Puck" orange citrus bergamot scent. Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24mm. Pre-shave: Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + A dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area. Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Post shave: Razorock blue barber with witch hazel + Nivea Men balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Have some great shaves!
Well it was malicious. The cop just left and he indicated that there were a few other incidents on my street and a few other blocks as well. Busted out car windows, mailboxes trashed, spray paint, etc. There are a few CCTV cams around, but it was dark and I doubt they'll see much. You never know.

A very excellent shave this morning and I smell all valentiney. I usually do at least a 2+ pass shave but as I started my typical touchup run I realized it was completely unnecessary.
Fri., Feb. 14, 2020 - Valentines Day clean-up Hot shower w/Cremo Bourbon and Oak Bodywash Arko Stick RazoRock 26mm Monster One Blade Core w/Feather FHS (1) 3 passes, touch up Cold rinse Alum Thayer's Witch Hazel Neutrogena Men's Triple-Protect Face Lotion Cremo Bourbon & Oak Eau de Toilette OK shave. I must be relaxing my technique, because I've nicked and irritated myself over my last few shaves. With the One Blade, that's like cutting your finger with a butter knife. It's been 20 minutes, and I'm still burning.
Friday February 14th - Valentine's Day Shave Well, for starters, my wife worked the night shift so she's asleep blocking off the master so I'm shaving in a spare bathroom (so I don't have all my gear at my disposal). Also, as it's a special day, I thought I'd use an adjustable that I haven't used in months - the Pal Adjustable. It's already loaded with a Chick blade with a couple shaves on it. Three awesome passes with only one small weeper under the lip thanks to my laziness . All in all - smooth, comfortable, and close. Awesome scents too. I may repeat tomorrow. Happy shaves all.
