Me, I was pushed to get everyone going, fed, clothed and dropped off to their proper places. Then off to a long day at work. I figured last night that was going to be the case. So......I grabbed a razor and blade pair that would give me a great, quick, close, shave with no hassle this morning.

The Yaqi Helmemt on a Razororock handle, with a new Feather blade was made to order for this. 2 passes on the head, 2 passes on the face and all is clean and smooth, very smooth. It claims on the Yaqi web site that this razor head is a 9-10 on a scale of 1- 10 in aggressiveness (read efficiency).
That very well may be true, it is a close shaver, compared to all the rest of my DE razors anyways. The first pass is as good as most of my razors on the second pass. A real brush hog! There is no fooling around with this razor, it means business. Pair it with a new Feather blade, not many DE's can touch it. No issues, that's always nice in a rushed shave, splash, glob then goo on all the goodness that Stirling Bay Rum can give. If you have a tough beard to get cleaned up, this may be for you. It is as good a razor as a R41, but I get no pulling and tugging like the R41 does to me.
The blade fits fine, it looks more like a hammer than a razor, but it's shaving nirvana, nice!
I see the raffle is going just fine, good luck, hope everyone gets their favorite toy to try out. Haven't had time to even skim the days noteworthy posts and I'm beat. After I press "post reply" I'm gonna hit the sack. Got a ball game to take grandson to, then the parts came in last night to my daughter's furnas to install. It's working now, but not sure how long my quick fix will last. Well....Chang out clothes from washer to dryer, then pass out a while.
