I do have both, Jeff. As Gary already stated, yours falls under the larger heading of a ‘New Improved’.
Here are mine side by side for comparison:

As you can see, there are fairly significant differences in how the top cap sits on the baseplate. The New Deluxe has a thicker base plate, and the top cap is much more streamlined to it. The combs are different length and angles as well. Different shavers, but both are solid. 90+ year old classics.

I didn’t even know Evan’s brushes were numbered! Who gets 007! 16 shaves in a row- you’ve almost done a ‘rule’ with it, Clint.
Great pic as always, and I trust Maya will get back safely.

Not sure if anyone answered your Fine Soap question yet, Joseph. I have 3. One from the days where they were only sold in the refill box and 2 from the ‘ridiculous small tub’ days. I just got in American Blend and it is rock hard. So was my L’Orange Noir that is at least 2-3 years old. The Platinum I grated was slightly more malleable, but not enough for me to think ‘what the heck’.

Awesome combo, Gary, with a very cool razor. Good morning, sir.

I don't think he planned on numbering them. He sent me a pm when it shipped saying it was number 4. My plan was to finish out the month with the Rex but the RazoRock Lupo arrives this week. So I will stick with the Rex through Thursday before using the Lupo Friday, Saturday and Sunday. May is already a third off the way through her drive. She likes me to check in on her along the way.

You’re going to like the Lupo, Clint! It has a very generous sweet spot, and is dynamite with a Feather blade. Jason Rodman of Ruds Shaves labeled it his Razor of the year for 2019.

I wish I had the time to dedicate to open blade shaves. For now, it's just hit and miss.

    @wristwatchb

    A fave family moment...

I was with my niece and taught her the Tao of Flair.

    She's three.

    It goes like this

    Maribel....

    What does the cow say?

    "Moooooo"

    What does the owl say?

    "Hoooooo"

    What does Ric Flair say?

She then points at the imaginary interview camera, then extends her arms like the fifteen time jet flying world champ and says...

    "Wooooo!!!!"
