Well, Before cleaning: Directly after cleaning: Done drying and freshly re-bladed: I had a rare moment where many of my razors needed blades changes at the same time. So, the razor cleansing ritual was really cool. First row left to right: West Coast Shaving - Midnight Collection 84B Gillette - Heritage Inspired (I replaced the Gillette Platinum with a Feather for more aggression. Let's see how it goes.) Edwin Jagger - Kelvin 'Amazon Exclusive' (It shaves great with nearly every blade universally, so I'm using up the odd-ball blade stock until I get down to just the blades I like for every razor and eventually I'll use Feather blades in this.) Second row left to right: Sterling Soaps - Slant (You'll notice that after cleaning it still has some kind of junk on the center. That's because the center pole started to rust, so I used super-glue to put a protective water-proof barrier over it. It worked and the razor should last a long time now.) Merkur - Futur (The BiC CP blade with the lowest setting on the Futur delivers the best shave among all my razors. It's not completely bullet-proof, but most of the time it gives a flawless shave.) Gillette - Superspeed Red Tip (re-plated and restored by Razor Emporium.) Gillette - Superspeed 1947-1952 era (also re-plated and restored by Razor Emporium.) These aren't all the razors I have, but this was the most blades I've ever replaced at one time since getting into the old school shaving hobby almost 4 year ago.

I'm going to open up the Spring with Grove. I like the art on your old-school set more than the modern one I recently got. I just don't understand the whole motif of the new art on the Grove products. The old art seemed more on point in my opinion. But we all know Douglas Smythe has his own odd way of marketing things sometimes. I am more concerned about the scent and the scent of Grove is very, very, very good. A Spring/Summer scent that I will be using in my rotation.
