  4. I need to cool it too. Got in a new soap/splash combo in anticipation of one being done, and then won a gift card in the raffle. 2 more splashes and a soap tub coming from that. Also got $160 worth of resin in for handles. Made a bunch, then ordered 3 knots for some. Perhaps exempting my brushes from the ‘one in, one out’ was flawed logic...More blades en route as well.
The only thing I didn’t order is a razor, and almost did that too...
  5. Great looking shave and photo Jason.

Brush - 30DC Meet Up LE w/ TGN Grade A Silvertip

It's Menthol Monday!! Time for some Stirling Iced Coffee, served up by the 30DC Meet Up brush with Silvertip knot. Great combo for the lather and my oh my was it ever luxurious! And smelled great too!! Stayed with the Black Beauty and Rapira and on the first pass I managed to bloody up my chin right next to my goatee. What, another bad shave? What's going on here? Well, I reconstructed the stroke and discovered that I'm flipping my wrist instead of following through with my wrist locked in place. It causes the angle to change and the corner of the blade gets to get in on the action. Hence, the small but rather bloody cut I find myself with. Apparently I've gotten in the bad habit of changing wrist position. It's a change in technique that goes back to carts, as the swivel head on those allows for such a sloppy approach. I'll be focusing on that from now on to make sure I stop before it gets to be too ingrained.

Glad to have solved that and also glad to say it was a great finish with a BBS finish and only that one problem. All's well that ends well, right? Have a great Tuesday!!

  14. A shavette-fu catch up...
Agree 100% on the Cooper, Terry. Besides how great a shaver it is, it just looks cool too.
Glad to hear the razor is now working as it should, Jeff.
Looks great, Danny. Everyone seems to have an inexpensive soap that works. Looks like you’ve found a good one.
The Red Ring looks fantastic, Tom.
Love the Baker Street and the effects, Jim. Very cool looking combo.
Love that brush as well, Clint. Both of ours are ‘licensed to kill’ as well, I believe...
Hope your meeting went well, Perry. I had a short meeting this afternoon as well, but it went quickly.
Love the pic, Jim. Those Evos are very well regarded, it seems.
What a beautiful timepiece, Charlie. Such a classic design. Congrats!
Nice combo, Gary. Hope your wife likes that Tabac!
That will be a quality den reduction for sure, Jeff!
A heavily mentholated Florida Water is a fave of mine for sure. Great combo, Joseph.
    See above. Awesome sauce.
I pulled a ‘Patrick’ today...a failed brush ended up as a razor stand. I mean that as a positive!
Yup, the Fine is a quality soap and product, no question.
I don’t ever seem to reach for my Black Beauty. I should either rectify that or move it along.

  16. Thanks Terry. Yes, the Stirling bars can be hard to hold onto.

Just having some fun on the watch stuff.

I enjoy reading your posts and seeing your cool and sometimes unusual gear. If anyone could use a Pit Crew to trim new blades and swap out used blades during the shave, it would be you! I take my chances just dropping a new DE blade in my razor without my glasses. I would not be good with tin snips. :)

    Have a great evening.
