I could not agree more Tim. I like Grove quiet a bit. I understand it was one of Fran’s creations. I also like the older art work better - same with Beach. It was one of my first PAA purchases. The funny thing is that I bought it with the initial release of Clownfruit. I did not know what to think of Clownfruit at first. After some time it really grew on me and I enjoy both, but Grove has always been a favorite. I also like the old Clownfruit artwork better. The things that I really dislike is those cheap plastic white tins they used for a bit but Fran told me that it was only temporary. I hope they are all gone by now. Either way, I still dig their soaps and their outstanding performance. Most of their new artwork is pretty cool overall as well. I was surprised ESP didn’t have a SciFi theme. I thought it would be a great Twilight Zone type of opportunity. Steve
February Favorites February 17 Razor - 1972 (S2) Gillette Super Adjustable (Black Beauty) (9) Blade - (2) Soap - Stirling Iced Coffee Brush - 30DC Meet Up LE w/ TGN Grade A Silvertip Post - Alum It's Menthol Monday!! Time for some Stirling Iced Coffee, served up by the 30DC Meet Up brush with Silvertip knot. Great combo for the lather and my oh my was it ever luxurious! And smelled great too!! Stayed with the Black Beauty and Rapira and on the first pass I managed to bloody up my chin right next to my goatee. What, another bad shave? What's going on here? Well, I reconstructed the stroke and discovered that I'm flipping my wrist instead of following through with my wrist locked in place. It causes the angle to change and the corner of the blade gets to get in on the action. Hence, the small but rather bloody cut I find myself with. Apparently I've gotten in the bad habit of changing wrist position. It's a change in technique that goes back to carts, as the swivel head on those allows for such a sloppy approach. I'll be focusing on that from now on to make sure I stop before it gets to be too ingrained. Glad to have solved that and also glad to say it was a great finish with a BBS finish and only that one problem. All's well that ends well, right? Have a great Tuesday!!

Monday February 17th SOTN This guard blade isn't quitting yet after 9 shaves. It's extremely forgiving but still pretty efficient.
