I've had beautiful shaves over the last week or so, decided to bin the supermax blue diamond after 15 shaves, and start using some of my old feathers so that i can get cracking on the new 100 pack my good friend Steven Lim sent to me.

The first shave was BBS with two passes in the fatip piccolo V1 which is often my go to razor for the first use of super sharp blades. Although its my most agressive razor, its the one i know the best, so 0 nicks or cuts whatsoever. Shave 2-3 and probably the rest of this blades lifespan will be with the Wilkinson sword TTO which is my only mint TTO since its the only one i got brand new. What an absolutely fantastic razor for the price. I'll get around to re posting my review on it from last year.

Fantastic performance from the Credance, definitely one of my best performing soaps, and it definitely has the strongest scent out of all my soaps hands down.

Shave number 2 was my first face lather with anything besides a shave stick with the omega 49 as well as my 2020 birthday shave, and the omega performed wonderfully.

The rest of the month up until the 15th of march will be bundubeard appreciation month, definitely in my top two soaps and it will definitely become my most used soap in the future since it is a locally made product.

    Shave 1:
    Razor- fatip piccolo
    Blade- feather hi-stainless(1)
    Brush- Wilkinson sword classic shave
    Soap- Credance, grooming dept
    Aftershave- ambassador for men

    Shave 2:
    Razor- Wilkinson sword classic TTO
    Blade- feather hi-stainless (2)
    Brush Omega 49
    Soap: bundubeard coffee
    Aftershave- Revlon pub

    Shave 3:
    Razor- Wilkinson sword classic TTO
    Blade-feather hi-stainless (3)
    Brush- omega 49
    Soap- Arko shave stick
    Aftershave- Revlon pub[IMG][IMG][IMG]

This blade was a dud, so I stopped after 1 pass. I got a sample of Tabac Craftsman and the scent is brighter and more citrusy than the original. I don't know if I like it yet. The wax has the original scent but not very strong.

    Blade: Rockwell Swedish
    Brush: Lutin Chubby Lightning
    Lather: Tabac Original

Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend if you got one. Today’s razor of choice was the Merkur Mergress which is a hot rodded Progress. This razor is just about the perfect adjustable razor. Voskhod on its second use and dialled to 3 this is an easy shave.

TFS Corte Sabauda was the choice today with the matching AS. What a scent! They really do make excellent soaps with great performance and strong and lively scents.

Beautiful two pass shave and smooth as can be. Topped off with a spritz of Guerlain Habit Rouge which is just about as close a match as can be found and ready for the work day.

Enjoy your shaves and safe travels.

Jeff, is that the second shave on the blade, or are you stacking blades?

Newly acquired, restored, and honed. I had an excellent 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. Whoever Cutlery World acquired their blades from, they were phenomenally made. This is some very hard steel, that takes on a wickedly sharp edge. It reminds me of high quality Swedish Silver Steel. BTW, the dark spots on the razor are shadows from the flash.

    Razor- Cutlery World. Solingen
Brush- Vintage C-MON A-4, with the original knot, cropped 1/2 inch. Aluminum handle was also restored. Original was too floppy.
    Soap- Wholly Kaw, OUD.
Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Buffalo Nickel Decanter.

My first try with this razor, on loan from our friend @Primotenore. I see the appeal - three days growth mostly gone in one slow pass and as BBS as it gets. One decent nick on the chin where I slipped but otherwise fine. Cap riding definitely encouraged.

Just for fun, for the second pass I used the 1924 and could barely feel it in comparison. However...and I doubt anybody's going to believe this...I'm positive the old Neillite 400 is even more aggressive, though not by much.

Okay, I'm satisfied. Thanks again to Primo for helping me scratch one off the bucket list.
